IтАЩll be watching the first half of the uswnt game in my AC (should theoretically be over by halftime, but who knows), then going to the game-I haven't gone to one since the Nats left.
Nah. Neither the US or the Cup ties is really compelling (Vietnam..? Poor devils).
I'll probably hang out in the A/C here and check in on the Cup on Paramount (along with peeking at the US as well as the Tour de France stage on Peacock). More options, less temperature...
IтАЩm going, mainly because I donтАЩt think the USWNT game is going to be super interesting, but I also will get there probably later than I usually do.
Anyone else believe this scheduling snafu by the NWSL?
Yes. It's very much in character, sadly.
Do you mean putting a Challenge Cup match directly opposite the USWNT match? Or do you mean scheduling Challenge Cup matches during the WWC?
The directly opposite the USWNT match is the big one. In reality, both were incredibly stupid.
Anyone going to the game tonight? IтАЩm conflicted.
Thorns announced they will be opening gates at 6 at PP and will have the USWNT game on, if it makes your decision any easier!
I wondered if they might do that. They won't be able to show the whole match, but that would be a fun way to watch it.
I'll probably go. Just an occasion to watch soccer and be outside on a summer night.
