All things considered, this match could become a memorable, nasty foul-fest.

Pink against red. Hmmmm.

Why is Mosquera and Boli on the bench?

Can you double check the math on that stat at the top?

Well said in the write up!

There are advantages both ways and it all comes down to mentality. I think Seattle might have more of it today, and so I am thinking they will get the result.

If Portland wins, it may be fools gold on a season turnaround, though it most definitely will be great to see!

Hard to think of an outcome that would surprise me.

I'm hoping people better informed than I can explain why Gio wouldn't go with the same 4-4-2 formation that beat Seattle last, and consequently what are the benefits of the 4-2-3-1 formation... I know Ayala is out for the season, but seems like we've got the same players available and then some.

( Also, are Zuparich and Bravo available, or still out due to accumulated yellow cards?)

Our formation generally defaults into a 4-4-2 in defense and a 4-2-3-1 on offense

I can't speak to your first question with any intelligence, but yellow card accumulation suspensions are only one game, so Zuparic should be available. Bravo wasn't suspended - he played last week, was instrumental in the goal in fact. He's one card away from a suspension though, as is McGraw, and Alex Roldan is out for the Sounders because of accumulation.
