LAFC is a top team in the league, even as they wait for a proper nine. I'm a fairly big fan of Giroud, but I'm not sure how much he adds after a long Serie A season and Euros and then a vacation. Maybe he kicks it in in September or October. What rankles me is that they are getting results now and seemingly getting a lot of breaks, from penalties given to having a whole half a man up against us. Maybe they make their own breaks, which is a credit to a good team. They are well coached and they play really hard, and some might say too hard. With the right ref, they can get away with extra aggressiveness. I hope the ref has it under control tomorrow. It looks like a mountain to climb because it's questionable whether we have our first choices (Evander and Antony). I hope we do, so we can make a statement. If not, our depth will surely be put to the test.
