I was lucky to be able to watch this game in person. They out hustled Real SL most all night. Won most of the 50-50 balls. Broke out on one counter after another. The D certainly has improved a ton since earlier in the season and the O looks well oiled right now. Evander didn't seem into the game as much as he could have been until the second half. When they were up 2-0 with just minutes to go I commented to my family that Neville doesn't seem to know how to park the bus. Sure enough, he pulls Bravo and Chara and put in Nathan and Anthony. And what do they do, they score again! Pantemis made a couple of great saves and was super lucky Real SL didn' score on him several times. When things are going right luck's with you. Has any previous Timbers team only lost once in a 10 game stretch?

I’d say RSL got far luckier - we missed many more quality opportunities for goals than RSL.
