Well, for starters, given how the team has played the last several games, this is why I didn't want tonight's game to be at home. I knew I'd be there and spend $288 for our four seats, to boot. If they were going to lose (which seemed likely) let them do it on TV where I could watch from the comfort of home.

All of that said, this may be the worst I've seen a Timbers play a game since I started going to their games the first year they were in the MLS. Vancouver was bigger, stronger, and faster than our team. The team's offense has now joined the team's defense in the garbage heap. I was happy to see Pantemis start again though I have to wonder if Maxi wasn't struggling not to smile as the carnage continued. Bravo played hard and smart, as usual. Evander looked like he wished he were somewhere else (he wasn't the only one). J Rod looked slow and sloppy again. Why Neville started him in the first place I don't know. I also don't know why he didn't sub in Toye for the second half.

Tonight was the first time I've left a game early (at the 78th minute.) I certainly wasn't alone. I just couldn't see our team embarrassed any longer.

RE Set Pieces. I'm done with it too. I will say this though: We are kinda small in general and could use some bigger bodies on set pieces. Two, a little coaching there would go a long ways. Shameful that they couldn't course correct during the year.
