..."I’m going to be optimistic, but not too optimistic in predicting a 1-1 draw"...

Compared to PTFCs all bench USOC match, Timbers are likely gonna play the starters at goalie, the entire backline, all the attacking midfield and striker. RSL might upgrade at most 4 positions ...

...and a 1-1 draw is optimistic?

I'm thinking we are going to score some goals, as we have been putting the ball in the net since the first Vancouver game. We have scored multiple goals in every game except the Cincinnatti game. I get the concern, but if we draw its going to be more of 2-2 or even higher. This is a winnable game, lets hope we get it done!

Is Paredes out for this game, or are you expecting some rotation due to 3 games in 8 days? To be fair this might be a game to move Evander back to mid-field and have Yimmi, Moreno and Asprilla up top with Boli/Niezgoda. I'm not sure I'm ready for the Caliskan era to kick off just yet.

Paredes isn't out, I'm just banking on some rotation. Gio's done this in the past with throwing younger guys in. Could be completely wrong however, and he could go with consistency.

Got it. It makes sense to rotate since Paredes is coming back from injury AND played the mid-week game a week ago. While he is young, we don't want to run him into the ground early in the season. It is fair to give Caliskan a start, and you are right that Gio does this rotation. Both the RSL and Minnesota are winnable games, so Caliskan should get a start in one of them.

I don’t see this on Apple +? No regional blackouts, right?
