Alex Barnes: This kit is my favorite since the famed green and gold collared kit. It’s so sleek, so simple, and that’s always what I’m looking for in a kit. Especially for a kit as important as the 50th anniversary kit. The tree rings looks great, the gold accents are class, and the dark green really pops. I love it, and can’t wait to see it on the pitch.

Luukas Ojala: The simplicity of this kit is what makes it stand out to me. When I think of other football clubs and their anniversary kits they make, I think of timeless, memorable, classy looking football kits. I feel like the design of this kit honors the heritage and tradition that is found in Soccer City USA, and I am excited to see the Timbers wear the kit on the field this year. Simple, timeless, elegant, honoring our history.

Phuoc Nguyen: This is one of the cleanest kits in a very long time and also does the 50th anniversary justice! It just doesn’t ‘pop’ enough for me, as I would have loved to see a bit more gold. However, everything that went into this kit is absolutely brilliant. Every single detail was measured and honored what Portland aka Soccer City, USA has meant to everyone.

Sam Svilar: Top three Timbers kit in the MLS era for me, easily. Luukas said it great with the “timeless” comment — these things are gonna look good for years to come. It’s got the right amount of homages to the past, the tree rings are on-brand and extremely cool touch, and it has an incredibly cohesive look. I share the sentiment that I think there could be juuust a bit more gold present, but honestly that’s a quibble more than anything else. This is an incredible kit. Happy 50th, PTFC.

This is an awesome uni. The rings, the cascadia 50, the gold. It really is nice. They now have three amazing jerseys on the rotation with the Clive and the Plaid, too. We'll be looking good this year!
Wow I am very much not in the writers' camp here.
A+ intro video, B-/C+ kit. I mean, it's...fine. It's just kinda uninteresting, and from a distance in the stands or on TV none of these details will pop, and it will just look like they're wearing dark green T-shirts with matching shorts. I do like the shade of green, but I wish they would have been a bit more adventurous with a 50th anniversary kit.
The Clive Kit would have been a perfect 50th, I hope they still use that this year - or was that just last year's third?
