Sounds like the Thorns signed her before the physical that found the abnormalities...hopefully they know better going forward to do the physical first. Yep, in almost every case, it ends sooner than you want and not on your terms. And, it's a lot easier to deal with that when it happens if you have your next move lined up or have something to fall back on. It's hard enough to deal with the psychological and emotional effects without also suddenly having to worry about what you're doing to do with your life and how you're going to support yourself.
