Yeah, I actually just re-watched a different youtube broadcast of the game and they have a fixed camera at the centerline that was left on (you can see pre-match stuff and the halftime show) and I could see the sprinklers turn on for one side first (BFC attacking half) for about a minute, then shut off, than they turned on for the other side (Thorns attacking half) also for about a minute. Teams went back on the field right after. I went back and looked....I didn't time it to the second, but it was about a minute each side. There's no there there...
The field did look super wet, though...players were sliding around a bunch. Someone here said they use a hybrid turf.
