OMG I hope this rumor isn't true. In addition to his "women are busy taking care of kids" comments (SERIOUSLY), he's a walking poster child for the terms "fail upwards" and "nepotism". AFAIK, he got hired for the Lionesses based largely on connections from his playing days, not any actual coaching merit on his part. He did badly at that job and got fired, but then got hired at Inter Miami because he's buddy-buddy with Beckham. He did even worse there and got fired - so now the Timbers want to hire him??!!?!!??!??!?!??!?!!!
I just hope this rumor is a load of BS, since I would like to keep supporting the Boys in Green.
