From what I read, it sounds like (surprise!) the Chilean federation doesn't adequately support the women's program. I'm guessing Endler (who just reached her 100th cap for country) just got tired of it. She's 32 and is the top keeper at one of the world's top clubs, owned by Kang. Probably just not worth it anymore to take the big step down for country.
