The last match vs the Sounders the Timbers' intensity was very high. They won duels, second balls and made timely defensive plays. They'll have to do it again to win, and they've lacked the intensity on the road this season. I'll be looking to see how our intensity level is.

Agreed. If The Vibes Coach can't get his team fully up for a game with a trophy at stake, what is he even doing? There's a chance to send a lot of traveling fans home happy today, and I hope the Timbers grab that chance with both hands.

Phil is certainly going to rah rah rah, but after a full season of that it might turn into blah blah blah. Diego Chara should be putting a jolt in every rear that steps out on the field for the Green and Gold. For his part, I hope Phil puts in some kind of game plan they can follow.

The only scenario where the Timbers are on the road for the play-in now is if VAN wins at RSL and MNU loses at home to St. Louis.
