Storylines
One week after generating all of the good vibes with a raucous opening night win, the Timbers fell back to earth a bit with a somewhat deflating 2-2 draw at home which saw them drop a 2-0 lead. D.C. Unites may very well wind up being a good team, but the Timbers being unable to hold onto three points in Providence Park left us with a sour taste our mouths.
And now, the Timbers head on the road for the first time this year, which has been a horror show for them in recent years.
