I attended the first media availabilities for each club and share my key takeaways.
Portland Timbers
The media got to see a full training session. Afterwards, we got a chance to speak with head coach Phil Neville, GK Maxime Crépeau, CB Kamal Miller, and MF Eryk Williamson.
Training was lively and filled with tons of energy from players, staff, and media who were catching up with one another. There were times early last season where trainings felt a bit subdued (until Miles Joseph took over). In contrast, this was a really good start to the season.
