The Thorns remain on the road after their win in Chicago, and they head to San Fransisco to take on Bay FC on Wednesday, May 1st at 7 p.m. PT. The game will be streamed on CBS Sports.
The Thorns (2-3-1) won their last two matches putting them in seventh place, and Bay FC (2-4-0) is currently in 10th place after losing their last two games.
Overall, Bay FC has found some success this year with wins over Angel City as well as Seattle (though this season Seattle has been struggling — they’re currently in last place).
Portland, since naming Rob Gale as interim manager, has won their last two matches. So either they are on a hot streak, or maybe the change worked.
