It was another dissapointing performance by the Thorns.
The Thorns are still trying to find their footing in this season. Even though Racing Louisville had many players unavailable due to injury, Portland couldn’t get the win at home.

Although it looked promising, the game started to go South pretty fast. Racing Louisville opened the score in the 3rd minute through Nigerian international Uchenna Kanu and then she doubled the lead three minutes later. In both goals, Portland’s defense showed they’re still having serious problems with basic defensive concepts they need to correct urgently.
